The immediate environment, whether a studio figure drawing class or outside in the scenic parkway along the St. Lawrence or in the wilds of our spectacular Canadian Landscape is where I find the inspiration to render an image on paper or canvas. Basic elements of line, shape, colour value, texture, pattern is expressed in my figure drawings. Charcoal, pencil, water colour and chalk pastels are my preferred mediums.
