Capturing the Tiny Elements of Nature - Winter Edition
As a nature enthusiast, I love to portray the little beauties that are so easily overlooked, while I like to show details too small to be seen with the naked eye. It is my hope that my artwork will motivate the viewer to take a moment to rest and admire the wonderful and precious nature that surrounds us. All my oil paintings of snow crystals are inspired by macro photos, which I shoot myself at night, at temperatures of around -15°C. Every crystal is unique and only exists for a few moments, which is just enough #me for me to capture them in an image, after which I paint them considerably enlarged, for everyone to enjoy their astounding and mysterious beauty.
