Equestrian Series
This series began as what I called “Close Connections” between my daughter and her horses, but it has begun to grow beyond that. Inspiration originally came from many hours spent at the barn, and witnessing the communication between two living things with little or no words being said, which solidified what we know as an amazing connection between humans and horses. The creative process slowly developed after witnessing and photographing special moments while my daughter and horses were unaware of me doing so. Most of the artwork captures just a tiny piece of a larger picture that others may not even notice. Since then, I’ve wanted to build and expand my equestrian portfolio to include anything horses … from the race track, jumping, barrel racing, rodeos, or anything that inspires me from the world of horses.
