Robin Baker is a practicing multimedia artist and art instructor. She has an extensive history of produced drawings and paintings in oils, encaustics, watercolours, sculpture, pastels, pen and ink, and a variety of printmaking methods.

Her subjects range from landscapes, the figure, and still life with a focus on the human form, particularly women, as it allows her to express the observations and insights she sees as a woman living in change.

She studied in Detroit, MI at the Center for Creative Studies and the affiliated Wayne State University and Queens University Arts Educator program. Her work is exhibited regularly across Ontario and Quebec.

When not painting or teaching, Robin actively works to promote the visual arts through special public awareness exhibits, demonstrations, and lectures.
